Description
This is a Sailor Neptune resin model kit that I assembled and painted. She was painted with acrylic paints and sprayed with a glossy finish. I really love this model as it portrays her doing her "Deep Submerge" attack!Other completed Sailor Moon model kits:

I love this kit so much! Did the clear parts come in greenish resin, or were they colorless? I've seen this kit on Ebay, but they took a photo on a green background and so i couldn't exactly see.

The one that came with mine was clear and was painted green. Hope this helps!! ^_^

Hah, I already got mine and it was green too - so scratched up and crappily molded, though. I'll have to polish it for a loooong time, until it starts looking half-decently.

how did you do the water? I actually have this kit, haven't put it together yet, but I'm not sure how to do the water

You can do it with airbrush to control the opacity of the paint you want to apply. If you don't have one, you can paint it on with a brush, let wait until it's semi-dry and then take a paper towel or cloth and wipe the excess off leaving that clear-look, but not too opaque... I hope this helps...

Thank you!! I buy them from ebay, I make sure to read the feedback first to see what others have said about the quality of the resin. Thai resin is good. Sometimes the parts don't fit accurately, so you have to sand them down to make them fit, but I haven't really had to do to much sanding.

This looks great!
I wanted to buy this a while back but I was too scared to paint it, so I didn't. :c

Thanks!! You should paint one, if you make a mistake, you can always remove the acrylic paint with nail polish remover... ^_^

simply lovely! how much was the model kit? I saw this exact figure on ebay and Neptune was painted metallic and the colours were wrong. Yours looks great! The colours are great too. Much better than that small fortune one on ebay with the wrong colours!

Awe thanks! The model kit was about $25, not including shipping and handling. She tends to pop up from time to time on eBay. Yeah, I think model kits should be as close to the character and anime as possible including the color. I have a bunch of model kits I'm working on right now and Sailor Moon plushies. I'm working on Mars, Pluto, Uranus, and Mercury right now...They should be finished sometime soon! ^___^

I just bought this kit, haven't assembled it yet, but how did you paint the clear resin parts? I'm not sure how I should do it yet.
