Description
I've made this drawing in France, using an advertisement for vaccination against overian cancer as a reference.
I'm actually a little proud of this drawing
I used some colours that I really dislike, so I'm happy I appeared to be able to create something with it. (I used those because I noticed that I picked out exactly the same pencils everytime I started a drawing ) Well, critique's very welcome!
The size is a4, I used grey-brownish paper, pastel pencils, and an eraser.

Gorgeous! I love how you drew her. I love how the shading on her face is blended so well and still noticable, I love her eyes and hair. And I love the smile lines and how realistic you drew them, those can be so tricky!

Nou omdat er om kritiek werd gevraagd heb ik mijn uiterste best gedaan.
En na lang zoeken(het is namelijk vrijwel foto-realistisch(maar dan wel met een filter o.i.d.)) heb ik dan toch uiteindelijk 2 dingen gevonden (jaa, twee dinge maar, way to go
1. Het linker oog lijkt ietwat apart, ik kan het niet verder specificeren
2. De neus ziet er aan de onderkant, zeg maar waar de neusgaten zitten, niet kloppend uit
Voor de rest, echt een onwijs goed gelukt stuk

I love what you've done with this - looks very natural and realistic. Except for the mouth maybe... It's a bit too dark around the lips which make them conspicuous. Unless she's wearing a really drak lipstick of course. if you could find a way of "fixing" that, I'd say it almost perfect! (knowing that we never see our own art as perfect xD)

Yeah, you're right.. I think I won't fix it anymore (I never change drawings after finishing them, I always ruin them if I try

Now I see how scanning a drawing really messes them up. Maybe it's because you coated this (I don't think I've ever seen what that does to pastel drawings) but this looks so much better in real life!
Anywhoo. I think you did an amazing job on the eyes, and the previous critique about her hair popping out from behind her forehead is completely gone

No, actually, I've actually done it to a few drawings, and it ruined them. Totally. So, I'll just let the worms eat it, otherwisely they'll starve.. You should think of the animals some more, I think. They have feelings too.

And no, pastel-worms don't have feelings. I'm sorry. They wouldn't even notice when they starved to death, they don't really have emotions, only an urge to eat when their stomach sends a message to their brain telling it he's empty. (And yes, that's the same as with humans, but humans actually get cranky when they don't have enough food. I don't think pastel-worms do that.)
by the way, did you deliberately use 'actually' wrongly there? Or rather, use it twice when you should've used it only once?
