These are some working stages I had saved in my HD for the minotaur from the "Blade: Tukaram Vs Minotaur" deviation [link]

The first draft is almost completely done with the brush tool and then I took the pencil tool. You know, there are these two main ways of starting a painting: lines or masses; here I chose the latter -some day I have to upload the draft for Terra's Magitek armor [link] as I used lines there-. Then it was a matter of manually "resampling" it bigger and add details taking advantage of the bigger size and the higher color count.

I use MSPaint because I'm a bit lazy to learn how to do some of the MSPaint tricks in other programs
