And much more than this!!!ย  if we add the silence (only one "Plup" in some small wave on the lake) and the loneliness... (20Km to a town of 4000 inhabitants and after that nothing 300km radius in the middle of the Patagonian steppe)

Hmm, nothing compares to real desert silence. It is very rare that we experience real silence that is actually the lack of little soulds and voices that normally there are in the background, unnoticed. I had it sometimes in Egypt with only the hiss of the windswept sand, like near of the Northern tip of the Great Erg, where even the horizon is a smooth transition of sky blue to sand ochre without any definite line... That is mind boggling. One might definitely want to have a pyramide there with a UFO camouflaged as a strange cloud...
