They are very difficult to differentiate. Only differences in the tip of the last feather of the wings: in the black head gull, this pen, is never black and because they live in opposite places of the world.

No, the black-headed gull lives in europe, asia and Canada, this one (brown-hooded gull) lives in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay. Only differences in the tip of the last feather of the wings: in the black head gull, this pen, is never black.
