Waiting quietly for quite a long time, he was calmly sitting there, watching people passing by.Waiting was my guess.. he was rather taking a rest maybe.

he really conveys the image that have of an old japanese man...very calm and patient, happy to wait for anything if needed to. it especially works in b&w for me - you've got a lot of detail in there (and i guess from that, a nice new camera too, eh?!

this man has got to have such patience, and the picture maintains its tranquility when seen at full view. a moment of silence, beautiful. i like where the man is sat at, i like how youve given spacing at right. the pose is great too, and B&W works fantastic here

im blown away by this picture. the detail is just amazing throughout the photo. the composition of this photo has such a National Geographic, japanese culture feel to it.
also by the way, thats definately a sweet camera you got there. heh even just a little better than the 300D.
