Lapis looks like she's returning, the origin of the Crystal Gems was hinted more than once, we've seen White Diamond in two separate murals, and a fusion of Garnet and Peridot was teased. However, I think they'll save the new intro for Season 3...

Thats pretty much everything the show can build up to at the moment. Adding Jaspers return and her backstory too, but i can see why people dont include her much XD Oh yeah, and Homeworlds revelation as well.
