I remember that the first time I came across this series on YouTube, I couldn't resist the urge to watch it and although I'm not used to watch series with macabre themes (well, who am I kidding? There are times that I do watch them and I can stand them , but there are others that I can't stand watching for a long time because of the level of violence they have or if there is a lot of blood in them) but when I saw that the series was animated, it never crossed my mind to think that the series could be bloody, but anyway, I got stuck watching it, after seeing the "pilot" episode because I found it very entertaining and until now, I'm looking forward to the release of the other episodes because I was hooked with the plot. This series is called: "Helluva Boss", a series derived from "Hazbin Hotel", created by Vivienne Medrano, released in 2019, but to this day, episodes have continued to come out. This series contains themes of Judeo-Christian beliefs and based on demonology and every time an episode begins, there is a warning notice saying that it contains graphic violence, strong language, sexual themes, flashing lights among other things for a more adult audience. Ok, let's talk about the plot: the series is about the adventures of a team of demons who work in the company I.M.P (Immediate Murder Professional) formed by Blitzø (the boss and founder of I.M.P, who apparently is a bit incompetent in his job, but tries to be a good boss for his employees and has a somewhat confusing relationship with Stolas, the demon prince and is very overprotective and paternal towards his adoptive daughter Loona) Moxxie (his employee who is the least malicious of the group and adores his wife Millie and is annoyed by Blitzø's stalking attitude) Millie (Moxxie's wife, who is the most aggressive and dedicated to her work, but adores her husband) and Loona (Blitzø's adopted daughter, a hellhound, temperamental and often grumpy, who answers customer calls and from time to time, accompanies her father and his employees on their adventures)
The truth is that despite the humor that the series has, I feel that I'm liking it a lot and without a doubt, my favorite character is Loona, because I like her personality (she may not be the most enthusiastic or cheerful of the team, but I feel that I have come to identify with her at times and there are times when I may not agree with people and then everyone will make me angry, although Loona tends to be more aggressive and of course she is annoyed by the nonsense that Blitzø does or the oddities of Moxxie and Millie, but deep down and even if she doesn't show it, she loves her father Blitzø) and of course, I also really like her design (she looks like a very pretty and attractive anthropomorphic teenage wolf) and both her hound shape as her human form I like them a lot. Honestly, I wish Loona had more appearances in the series and more than anything, I like how she interacts with other characters, such as Vortex (who is the hellhound bodyguard of Verosika, Blitzø's ex-girlfriend) and personally, in the episode in which they both interact while being human, Loona's reactions seem very tender and a bit clumsy to me, since Blitzø almost doesn't let her go out with boys her age due to the work she does. In the future, I would like to see Loona dating Vortex or interacting more with Octavia and that she shows more of that calm, cheerful and innocent side of hers, because it is rare to see her in that way and I think I would like to see more showing that side of her with Blitzø. And well, here are Loona and Vortex in their human guise.
