PIECES OF THE PICTURE ARE MISSING DUE TO TOO SMALL SCANNER.
But it did capture the essence
First plan was to make it look like a flag... Untill the paint I was mixing turned brown in stead of broken white. So a plank it became!
The brown (with the wooden nerves in it) has the exact same 'teint' as the red, which made me feel dizzy every time I looked at it.
Result => making it into a classical wooden shop-sign with a basic plank with a hole in it, holding the actual symbol. (I did not paint the hooks holding the center board as they would not be visible from painted angle)
I personally LOVE the outcome
