Description
A redo of my old ant tank. Wanted a better wallpaper. The antialiasing isn't great due to time constraints, but I still like it. The glass has been given a proper refractive index, and the main armour's got a way higher polish than before.EDIT: New improved render for my new monitor. Better AA, and far improved lighting.

this is pretty sweet but your compositional choices are unfortunately not helping it.
I suggest you turn specular off on all your lights but one. With all of your lights creating specular on that thing, it's got lots of dots of light which makes it very difficult to see the awesome modelling underneath.
I'd also change the colour of the ground plate to something that doesn't blend in with it, the thumbnail looks like a big grey and white spotted blob which doesn't do justice to your awesome modelling!
Also consider losing the reflection on the ground, it makes it difficult to see where your model finishes and the reflection begins.

Had to enlarge to see all the detail, which was good as it really made me look closely.
I think it's great and good to have another rendition. You could do a whole load, a bit like Andy Warhol's Marilyn pics, only much better actually.....
