Well... where to start with this picture...

I originally started working on this probably about 3 years ago... (started sketching on a plane to Texas)

Never finished it after the trip, so it just sat in my sketchbook until a couple weeks ago. I poked at it a few times, but didn't get much further on it.

Well tonight and I were hanging out, sketching & all that. So I picked up the old book & went to town.

Its still not finished & this has been altered from the original. Not a whole lot... just made the jackal on both sides instead of only on one... I'll try to finish it soon so ya'll can see what I mean! Though I dunno how I'll scan the finished product, the sketchbook is huge!

I've always loved egyptian Gods, lore & whatnot. There used to be a story behind this, but hell if I remember!

btw this was done with mechanical pencil & fingers with a little touching up & tweaking in photoshop CS because as we all know... scanners are the DEVIL!
