Description
The sawfish is so named for the serrated crest on its back; it is with this crest that it can cut a boat in half by swimming beneath it. The fish also possesses enormous fins that are not unlike wings. It flies and races passing ships on these wings. The size of its wings are so large that when held aloft, the sawfish may prevent wind from coming into the sails of a ship.
Another entry in the bestiary series! I wanted to do a fish this time around. Got a lot of inspiration from lionfish and flying gurnards.
