aughhh

I was bored and wanted to test some paper. Drew some lines, scanned, colored. Total time was like an hour.

Very nice! It almost looks real, especially the body.

Well, the background and coloring were rushed...*shrug*
I still think I should be able to work faster than that, though.

Wow. The back of the animal looks almost like a fabric, and the head looks almost like it could actually turn around and look at me
Wonderful job on the markings and background as well~

Thank you!

Are those sparkles the salt?

Nah, this is that red paper that I've had lying around for a while. I wanted to see how well it could pick up the lines, you know, 'cause we don't really have white paper...turns out it's not that good...oh well.

It'd be pretty nifty if salt could make those sparklies, eh?

Wow.. Amazing pic. aha Although I want him/her to turn around so see what that feather is attached to... or is it a horn? ahh the mystery lol.

The background is really also nicely done.

Thank you

It's a feather, yes, but don't ask me why it's there...I have no idea. It's sort of attached to the 'bridge' of his nose/forehead: [link]

Simple mixes of colors, sparkles, and textures can really do the trick for a background, eh? Thanks

ahha oh cool the feather is awesome... so bizarre but somehow looks as if it belongs. haha like only the majestic/dominant male grows the feather hehehe.

Haha, that'd be a pretty cool species--cheetahfeatherheads. This guy's supposed to be one-of-a-king, though...he's a robot/cyborg thing.
Thanks

Thanks! Yeah, I love the effect that sunlight has on black fur...ever see a panther in a sun ray?

And sometimes, ya just gotta have the dots.
