I've wanted to paint Jake for some time now and here he is
This was like a speed painting for me - it took less than 15h

After some unsuccessful attempts to pain the ocean, I decided to try a tutorial with a lot of filters to achieve this result. It could be found here .
I tried one more tutorial - for the clouds, it could be found here .

Painted in Photoshop with Wacom BAMBOO tablet.
