Amber is the result of tree SAP being hardened and basically fossilized over millions of years.

That's exactly what I was thinking, I make mods, I was planning that in swamp biomes or jungle, that there would be a large tree, 2 times outta 3 there would be a mineral called Jet that is similar to coal but is stronger, and in the leaves, 1 time outta 3 there would be Amber, to be honest, I don't know why I'm telling you this.
