Well, I said I would do it, and here is it!
A drawing of my Fire Emblem OC, Alex, both in his male (left) and female (right) versions!

Oh, and there are some differences between the 2 of them besides the gender, so if you want to know what are those, read below.

Both of them are students, so to speak.
First, the gender you chose for Alex will also decide the gender of Byleth in the story. Picking Alex (M) results in Byleth (F) being his teacher, picking Alex (F) results in Byleth (M) instead.

Second, Alex (F) is a very good student, if not to say the best, and has a perfect assistance record. Alex (M) by the other hand, is not a very good student, so to speak; he also never goes to classes on tuesdays (the reason won't be revealed yet)

Third. Alex (M) is a very calm and quiet, and prefers not to voice his thoughts if they can harm someone. Alex (F) instead is quite rude and loud, she can also be insensitive at times, she prefer voicing her thoughts.

They both have a good image of their teacher, Byleth.

It is rumored (not confirmed) that Alex (F) has feelings for Byleth (M). Alex (M), on the other hand, has admiration for Byleth (F), but hasn't reached to the level of having feelings for her.

Alex (M) learns more through observation, and he doesn't likes to read. Alex (F) instead learns more by reading, she's an avid reader, but is not very good with observation.

Both of their swords are actually incomplete, with one of the wings shattered from them.

Alex (M) holds the Sword of Hamon, The Cursed Blade of Darkness. Alex (F) holds the Sword of Eros, The Blessed Blade of Light.
