Tohka: Hey, Aida, right?
Aida: Y-Yeah?
Tohka: Sorry we can't be of much help here...with our powers sealed and all...
Aida: No, don't apologize...It's my fault for being useless...
Tohka: You are not useless Aida...if you hadn't come, Shido and I would be dead by now.
Aida: But, I'm-

Aida: ...-closes his eyes-
Aida's thoughts: (Yeah...I'm afraid...I came here without thinking, I messed up, and Sera isn't with me now...I've never fought alone before...But this time is different...she believes I can save them, so it's my turn to believe in myself, to save her!)
Aida: I won't back down!! -he opens his eyes, and a strange pattern has appeared on them-

Well, Aida little by little has to overcome his fear to fight alone. He's not good at believing in himself and he constantly needs support from others.
The DDA is quite mentioned, just what is that?
