I just want to say; I LOVE this. I read the Catcher in the Rye in high school, and although I enjoy reading, this was the only ASSIGNED book that I ever fell in love with. This is probably the best Catcher in the Rye artwork, and it's definitely one of my favorite artwork of all time. Holden looks just like how I imagined him in the novel!
While some people hate this book (which baffles and appalls me), as well as Holden's character, I wanted to give him a big hug. And cry. . .Or maybe that's just me? I dunno, I relate with him though with his crisis of facing the adult world; I mean, who wants to do that?? I sure don't, anyways. xD
