Description
This Thursday Prompt for was "simple things". The simple feeling of being out in nature, the feeling of friendship and the simple joy of watching a beautiful day unfold. The woman on the left is Sapphire, woman on the right is Allen Rail.

This was done with dip pen and ink, on multipurpose paper with black, blue, yellow and red watercolor. It was touched up a little bit in clip studio paint. I have come to really enjoy pen and ink with basic watercolor.

Last Thursday, I saw my friend, in person, for the first time in a long time. We went out to a state park with the goal of sketching things we saw and chatting. Rain was forecasted and rain it did. I appreciated they let me drag them out on such a day! Especially since I got ourselves lost several times on the way there- my bad XD
There is something thrilling about a nice, rainy day. And it made it even more lovely to share it with my friend ^^

There was this beautiful tree not fare away from our shelter that was the base for this piece. It was massive and neatly groomed. A lot of people must have sat on it's bows. So the piece needed people. Allen and Sapphire slid onto the page. Because I drew Allen, that meant that shadow messengers would be present too. Also have been listing to "Welcome to Nightvale" and reading a scary ManHua (Chinese Manga) with a lot of spooky imagery.
