yeah, you're right.
i wasn't much active lately.
well, i changed a few things in my life like quit smoking and going to the gym etc., which actually takes a good amount of my daily free time.
that's basically why i haven't found the time and mood for creating graphics, you know.
i have even neglected my online activities here on dA and at the cad.com forum, so no wonder i was commenting on a rather old one of your works yesterday.
i guess time will tell when i will release the next deviation.
maybe some time in the winter.

Ooh, I really envy you. I wish to quit smoking as well. This is absolutely horrible habit. I didn't smoke for a month, but than I suddenly start again. This was a huge mistake.

yeah, not-smoking is very hard sometimes.
i loved smoking cigarettes and there are still a lot of moments when i want a cigarette really really badly.
but as i said, that's just moments and they mostly last for just a few minutes and everything is okay again.
and then it's great to realize that after almost 25 years of smoking almost 50 cigarettes a day i actually managed to live without them for more than 3 months now.
damn, that makes me proud and i want to collect more and more months of being a non-smoker.

50 cigarettes daily? This is really terrible. I smoke about 15 daily! And even this is too much I think.
One my friend, had quit to smoke for about 10 years. And than he start to smoke again. He said to me that there was no day during 10 years, that he had no wish to smoke. Maybe this is very personal. But, definitely, I should quit.

of course it's always better not to smoke, but that's a decision each person has to make for their own, i think.
i have strong hopes that i won't become one of those "militant" non-smokers who always harasses people who smoke.
it's simply none of my business and the people are old enough to decide for their own.
me, i hopefully will never smoke again.

well, it took me months (or even years) for the right moment to come.
i had to prepare myself for it, because i knew if i would just try to quit, then i'm likely to fail, but if i actually do quit smoking, then i'm sure to have the right inner attitude and willpower to actually win on this.
you see, there's a difference between an attempt of doing something and an actual concious decision to really do something.
if you decide something you basically are already quite confident in the fact that you're really making it.
if you just try, then there's no big deal about loosing, because you have only tried in the first place.
you see what i mean?
also i'd like to give you the advice that it all has nothing to do with hope or anything.
there's no special time when it'd be easier than at other times.
quitting to smoke is a hard thing to do. no matter what, where or when.
it's just you and the smoke. you win or you lose. simple as that.
personally, i made this an "ego"-thing so that it would be very hard for me to accept a failure.
i said to myself: "..what am i? a man or a mouse? it can't be that hard to quit the smoke, can it? now, let's see who's the boss over my body.."
and as i said: ... i didn't try to quit. i just did.
that's quite a difference, you'll see.

Thank you very much, my friend. I do agree with you in almost everything. Smoker looks like a going to die dragon which has no more flame. I absolutely agree with you, that there's a difference between an attempt of doing something and an actual decision to really do something.
