"I know this little place where the serverbots walk around minus their torso plates! You know what I mean? Aheh!"Ah, Rattrap, my favorite Maximal. He's so sleazy! He looks so weird with blue eyes, but the animated aesthetic demands good guys have blue eyes and bad guys have red eyes, so whataya goin' ta do?
The Silverbolt from Animated Swoop's character model was shamelessly stolen from @13x's digibash of the Swoop toy over at the Allspark, it just works too well not to use.

Heh, always good to take a stroll down memory lane and see that the classics are not only remembered, but sometimes given a fresh spin to incorporate the elements of the modern themes (I.E. Beast Wars/Machines meets TFA). And don't worry about the blue lights on Rattrap's head seeming outta place--like you said, it stays consistent with the TFA eye-coloring theme. And, strange though it may look, it DOES work.
Also, kudos for deciding to go with Silverbolt's Beast Machines look--though it may subject me to the focus of flaming from angry fans, I rather prefer Silverbolt's new look (but would rather have seen more aspects of his old personality), with its sleek, Samurai-esque motif. Combined that with the silver-white of his old look, and you've got the best of both worlds!
Ahh, but I'm going on a tangent. Bottom line? I like this.

I think Swoop's model works perfectly for BM Silverbolt.

Awesome yet again! I agree Rattrap is cool! Scott McNeil knows how to make people laugh. I hated Beast Machines Silverbolt when they made him the stupid Condor which the Swoop variation reminded me of. It would have been cooler if they had just went and made him a wolf. But thats just me.

Never thought to mimic Swoop's transformation process for BM Silverbolt. Your's looks so much better than mine -_-
By the way. Not all the robots in Animated will be following the red/blue eyes theme though. Swindle's eyes will be purple, like in G1. Some other character will have yellow ones.

I just saw a picture with the purple eyed Swindle and yellow eyed Jetfire a few hours ago. I guess I can start using the original eye colors from now on.
On a side note I was just over at your gallery looking at your Animated style drawings not too long ago, they're really good.

Thanks! I've had a few other requests for a bird-dog version of Silverbolt elsewhere, so I might draw one in the near future. I realize not everyone likes the BM version like I do.
