Description
Story: Each character would have a different story. Sonic wants to challenge the Champion of the Foot Race Grad Prix and Tails decides to take a shot at it. Amy/Rosy wants to show that she can keep up with Sonic. The Master Emerald has been stolen and Knuckles thinks someone in the Grad Prix has taken it. Robotnik wants to defeat Sonic so he enters the Foot Race Grad Prix. Robotnik created a Newer, Stronger, and Faster version of Metal Sonic with shards of the Master Emerald and wants to test it out by entering it in the Grand Prix.

Gameplay: The game can be played in 2D and 3D. In 2D, The Characters play like how they do in the Genesis era. In 3D, The Characters play like how they would in the Adventure Series but more physics based (Gaining Speed down hills). Stages will have Rings which can open doors in some stages and can help you use Abilities. There are also Random Monitors scattered around the Stage which can help you or hurt you. Stages also have Badniks which can slow you down or kill you and make you restart from the last checkpoint. Some Badniks are stage specific.

Abilities: Each Character has 1 or 2 unique abilities. Some abilities you have Permanently, Others you need a certain amount of Rings. Sonic can do the Spin Dash and the Peel-Out (Both cost 3 Rings). Tails can Spin Dash (Cost 3 Rings) and Fly like how he does in the Genesis and Adventure games but it cost 5 Rings and you go slower when your moving up. Knuckles can Glide but it Cost 3 Rings and you can't climb walls (unless your playing in 2D). Amy plays like how she does in Adventure 1 but all her abilities cost 2 Rings. She isn't fast on the ground but she can use her Hammer to gain speed (especially when she lands on a downward slope). Robotnik has his Eggmobile and it has all sorts of bells and whistles. His Eggmobile have different attacks depending on the Ring amount. 2 Rings: Missile, 4 Rings: Homing Missile, 8 Rings: Bombs, and 30 Rings: Screen Nuke. Metal Sonic is basically just Sonic.

You Unlock Metal Sonic and Super Sonic by getting all the Chaos Emeralds and getting 1st place. When You've done that, You race Metal Sonic in a 1 on 1 Race. To use Super Sonic, you need to be playing as Sonic and collect 50 Rings. Then Jump and press the action button. Your abilities don't cost Rings but your Ring Counter goes down really fast.
