Description Too tired to type up something new, so I'm just gonna copy the text of the AH.com post I made about this scenario and hope that explains enough:

To explain what’s going on here- as a side project, I’ve been trying to put together an RNG system to randomly pick presidential/vice-presidential candidates (for US elections), who wins, and whether there are any notable third-party candidates that also accounts for potential evolution of the parties and different political careers of the nominees themselves. (I don’t know how to code, so this wasn’t a “sit back and let the computer spit out a bunch of names” kind of thing- it was more along the lines of “use an RNG to get a bunch of random numbers and spend fifteen minutes scanning your ridiculously-complicated chart that took you half an hour to make to figure out what the numbers mean, repeat process for each election.”) I tested the system by randomizing every election from 1980 to 2020, and several sleep-deprived hours later, this list was the end result. Clearly, I need to simplify the system to make using it less torturous (the only reason I didn’t give up two elections in was because I am as susceptible to the sunk-cost fallacy as everyone else) and make it more difficult for the country to turn into a dominant-party state, but either way, I thought the results were interesting.
