A week ago, on March 15, the famous Soviet/Russian actor Alexander Shirvindt, an idol of millions of people, a star of the Soviet screen and, until recently, the permanent administrator of the Moscow Satire Theater, died at the age of 90. He can be seen in many famous Russian cult films - “The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath” (1975), “Station for Two” (1982), “Three in a Boat, Not Counting the Dog” (1979), “Winter Evening in Gagra "(1985), "Old Robbers" (1971), "A Million in the Marriage Basket" (1985), "For Matches" (1980), "Hello, Fools!" (1996), "Sky Swallows" (1976) and others.

I decided to remember those moments when Alexander Anatolyevich voiced animated films. In fact, he also has a lot of roles in animation - this is the Cheshire Cat in the Soviet animated version of "Alice in Wonderland" (1981-1982, from the Kyivnaukfilm studio), Tsar Pea, Fly Agaric and Valuy in "How the Mushrooms Fought with the Pea" (1977), Aladdin in "The New Aladdin" (1979), narrator's voice in the "Time Mashinka" (1967), Grandma's Goat in the third episode of the stop-motion animated series "The Littlest Dwarf" (1981), and the Archivist in the recent release of Soyuzmultfilm "Hoffmaniada" (2018), which was filmed over 17 years.
