I love to color children’s illustrations. Too bad I’m not good at drawing them and there are not a lot of lines to color.So, when I saw this one, by I just had to color it. Love the old, cold, Russian feel of it.

very pleasantly colored- i love the subtle textures and colors
especially the rocks and the "misty cold" feeling from the door.
my only complaint is the lack of shadows in the corners and on the chimney, but that's not much to complain about.

You know what? I tried to make the shadows and thought I did them, but know I see that they should have been much more dark. You're right.
