Azrael is the Archangel of Death. He is death personified and has several different horrifying forms. Some say he is the embodiment of evil, but not inherently evil himself. He is the master of the book of death, and spends most of his time recording the names of beings who are born and die in it. Azrael will be the last thing to die at the end of eternity.

He is the leader of the Reapers, or lesser death angels who guide souls to the underworld to be sorted. (More info on these will be presented in updates to Dia). He oversees all their activities and makes sure everything is working smoothly. Azrael often works with his friend Sammael in Hell on death related matters. Sammay is the only being who Azrael would call a friend. Its not that he doesn't want friends, other angels are just literally scared of his appearance and won't approach him.

Azrael's temperment is actually quite docile, though dour. He is not one to excite easily and seems emotionless most of the time. Has a dark sense of humor. Won't approach others, but will wait a long time until someone approaches him. Is very private with his feelings.

As for powers, well who knows exactly what he can do....
