Description
Before we begin, this story does NOT take place during the MidSodor times. It takes place before Ivo Hugh's arrival.

Alec Baldwin: Sir Handel and Peter Sam work on the Skarloey Railway. They worked with Duke on the MidSodor Railway. They are really useful and like working together like best friends.

Alec Baldwin: Sir Handel had history with George and when Duke saved him from falling off the bridge. Peter Sam had history of an accident at the incline and when he lost his old funnel. Mr. Percival had come to inspect his engines. He found that Duke and Sir Handel were in fine working order.

Mr. Percival: Unfortunately, Peter Sam. (Alec Baldwin: Mr. Percival said.) Your buffers are damaged. You must report to the engine works immediately for a new set of buffers. Duke, you and Sir Handel will have to work together at the incline until Peter Sam returns.

Duke: Yes sir. (Alec Baldwin: Said Duke and Mr. Percival drove away.)

Peter Sam: (Alec Baldwin: Peter Sam was happy.) First, a new funnel and I'm going to get new buffers! (Alec Baldwin: He gloated to Sir Handel.)

Sir Handel: Well I have steamroller wheels and I should get new buffers too. (Alec Baldwin: Sir Handel complained.) We've been friends for a very long time.

Peter Sam: But you don't need new buffers. (Alec Baldwin: Peter Sam teased.)

Sir Handel: You only getting new buffers because you have a stupid funnel. (Alec Baldwin: Snorted Sir Handel enviously.)

Peter Sam: No I'm not!

Sir Handel: Yes you are!

Peter Sam: Says the one who has a bad temper like Duncan!

Sir Handel: Says the one who had an accident at the incline!

Duke: Will you two stop acting like Smudger? (Alec Baldwin: Duke scolded.) Now come on Falcon, we've got work to do.

Alec Baldwin: Peter Sam couldn't wait to get new buffers. Later, Sir Handel watched as Peter Sam chuffed away to the engine works. He was green with envy, he wanted new buffers too. Sir Handel returned to his job but he wasn't thinking about work. All he could think about was Peter Sam's new buffers.(Sir Handel and the flatbed run into some buffers)

Sir Handel: Ooh! (Alec Baldwin: Said Sir Handel.) (sneezes)

Duke: Be careful. (Alec Baldwin: Said Duke.) And stop thinking about Stuart's new buffers.

Alec Baldwin: Sir Handel tried thinking about birds, he tried thinking about trees, he tried thinking about anything but Peter Sam and his brand new buffers. But it didn't work.

Sir Handel: I want new buffers too! (Alec Baldwin: He cried.)

Duke: Just be happy you're in good working order. (Alec Baldwin: Said Duke.)

Sir Handel: It's not fair! (Alec Baldwin: Sir Handel huffed and he wheeshed soot all over Duke.)

Duke: Falcon! (Alec Baldwin: Gasped Duke.)

Sir Handel: Oops, sorry. (Alec Baldwin: Said Sir Handel.)

Alec Baldwin: Sir Handel tried his best to get on with his work. But the troublesome trucks had spotted a chance for a tease.

Trucks: Poor, poor Sir Handel, he works, he suffers, while Peter Sam gets brand new buffers!

Alec Baldwin: This made Sir Handel very cross.

Sir Handel: I might not have new buffers. (Alec Baldwin: He said.) But I still know how to biff troublesome trucks.

Duke: No! (Alec Baldwin: Duke cried.)(Sir Handel pushes a troublesome truck and accidentally falls off the track)

Alec Baldwin: But it was too late. Peter Sam puffed into the incline with his shiny new buffers just in time to hear...

Sir Handel: Bust my buffers! (Alec Baldwin: Cried Sir Handel.)

Peter Sam: I think you have. (Alec Baldwin: Said Peter Sam.)

Alec Baldwin: When Mr. Percival arrived and saw Sir Handel's broken buffers, he was not happy.

Mr. Percival: You behaved badly Sir Handel. (Alec Baldwin: Mr. Percival said.) Do you have anything to say for yourself?

Sir Handel: Yes sir. I'm sorry, sir. (Alec Baldwin: Said Sir Handel.)

Mr. Percival: Before you get new buffers, (Alec Baldwin: Mr. Percival continued.) I want you to think what it means to be a responsible reliable engine.

Sir Handel: Yes, Sir. (Alec Baldwin: Answered Sir Handel meekly.)

Alec Baldwin: After Mr. Percival left, Peter Sam rolled up to Sir Handel with his new buffers gleaming.

Sir Handel: They are nice buffers. (Alec Baldwin: Sir Handel said.)

Peter Sam: Thanks. (Alec Baldwin: Peter Sam said.) I'm sorry I teased you.

Sir Handel: That's all right. (Alec Baldwin: Said Sir Handel.) I know not to whine about my condition too.

Peter Sam: Of course you are. (Alec Baldwin: Said Peter Sam.) We're all different and unique.
