I was in the mood for awesome today, and I delivered ^_^Lol
I was watching the teaser trailer for the New Robocop. Got me looking at images of Robocop VS Terminator, This Sega megadrive game with probably the most Awesomest idea for a match up ever.
On the Right is Robocop AKA Alex Murphy, a detroit Police officer, brought Back to life by OCP as a Cyborg Law Enforcer. And The Terminator, a Cyborg Endo skeleton Assassin Sent back in time to ensure the Machines of the futures victory over the human resistance. I looked up some reference as Drawing robocop from memory is kinda hard >.< and the terminator I just had to make him look alot like Arnold Swarzenegger, since he pretty much IS the character, his defining Role. Awesome Sauce
These two were what I imagined when I thought what is cool, these two were my Deffinition of friggin awesome O.O.

I really like how you retain your own choice of proportions while keeping details from the source material. ex. You put in the upper arm vents on RoboCop, but you didn't feel the need to make Peter Weller's face look like a photorealistic copy.
In so, so many of your drawings, there's a strong impression that you looked up photos or had action figures posing on your desk, yet you manage to not fall into the trap of trying to make your drawings an exact copy of the originals in terms of proportions. (When I use reference material, I always end up with a drawing that looks too rigidly slavish to the reference material, but you're staying creative throughout the process.)
ex. Your He-Man drawings often made me do a double-take before I remembered that the original figures didn't actually have elbow joints or knee joints, yet you made the characters appear like they were a cross between the figures and the t.v. show. Well done! With your drawings, I often get the impression that I'm younger and playing with my He-Man figures on my bedroom carpet rather than a "grown-up" view of static plastic collector's items with hinges and ball-joints. I don't know how you accomplish it, but it works wonders!

Yeah, I look at a fair bit of reference material, but i concern myself with the pose, I don't fuss myself with getting their exact likeness. Just do enough detail so the design is repeatable and you can tell what they are about at a glance.
nice way of putting how u feel about the he-man artwork, I just wanted more art that looked like the 80's cartoon with bright colours and all ages friendliness. just with the fights gaining afew extra teeth, similar to shows these days that elaborate on the fight choreography.

Theres a teaser online for OCP products. I saw Ed-209 in there and teasing Robocop as their latest product, havent shown what he looks like yet.

I've heard he looks like Iron man only darker, shame they're not sticking to the original design, was a character of its own.

Yeah, I did notice Ed-209 in the vid looking a bit streamlined, basically the same just they cut the rough edges off and the like. no doubt they'll give RoboCop a more streamlined look aswell. They pretty much nailed his Look the first time around, iconic
