I loved Daniels and Walter. I actually wrote my own Alien prequel that continues after Covenant, I even brought back Walter, considering we never saw him die. I don't think I did a good job though, but I think I nailed the ending. It led into Alien and I think I covered everything. The saddest part was, one of the human characters kills Daniels to stop her from destroying the Aliens eggs on the Space Jockey ship and Walter, who is heart broken by this and is forced to obey the woman who killed her's orders. I wrote this thing where after she's shot and dying, Walter holds her in his arms and he shows the nail she stabbed David with saying "We can still build your cabin. Don't let go" before she slowly slips away.

Well it’s on my page if you wanna read it. But again, I don’t think I did a good job, but I feel I got the ending right, I feel it’s just a bunch of scenes, no flow. Too much Aliens popping up and “let’s move on.” But I wrote my own Aliens trilogy set after Aliens that retcons 3&4 so I could cast Newt as the star and currently trying to make them into animated movies.
