here it is...the colors are definitely flatter then my usual style. but t seemed appropriate. Chris colors mostly look flat when he's not doing it in aquarelle (and I don't do aquarelle
). The colors aren't as close has his as I would have like. but I'm no coloring artist. as for the hair textures... well, I was never really good at this
anyway, all that being said, I sure like how it came out
hope you guys dig it too

Well I think you'll be very pleased to know I found the lineart for this on some forum, (think it was the spill.com forum), where there was a gellery fo his works, so mission definately accomplished, you got done fooled them man

This is fantastic! You got the style so nicely. The dog and cat are frog the original designs for An Amerigan Dog (or whateer it was called) AKA Bolt, aren't they?

yeah American Dog was the original idea behind what became Bolt after Catmull & Lasseter took controll of Disney.
note that, it is usualy a good thing. they are a great creative team, they brouth back 2d animation. but doing that, they cancel their most original realese, and then turned it into Bolt instead, witch isn't bad. but, it's no Lilo and Stich eather

yeah, Bolt is a great film. I dont want you to think I didn't like it. it just that I never understood that move. they had something purely original from the guy that give them the last Disney succes ( other then pixar). Cancelled it saying that it was to much like a pixar movie ( as read on Jim hill media ) and then did an other cg movie even more closely resembling a Pixar movie :/
