I really love this. It's so sweet and pretty but has that horrific edge to it that's very compelling! I can imagine how interesting the story you'd privately conceived must have been! The hints of color were a nice touch. : )

I have to say the girl reminds me of a more adult Ponyo.......Yeah. Plus the toes on that foot are crazy looking. Just sayin'! Thats how I see it. Other then that, awesome drawing!

My first thought was "wow, that's really stunning", and as I looked closer at the details I thought "wow....that's really kinda disturbing". It's beautifully done. Makes me want to know what you were reading that inspired it!

this is spectacular, i just love how you did the orange for her hair! and the smaller details, like the blood on his hands from the barbed wire swing. parts of it make me think of ophelia from hamlet and her brother laertes and their relationship

This is beautiful. I love the hints of color throughout the drawing against the gray. It has an interesting effect. This illustration in general demonstrates great technical skill and is simply lovely to look at.

I read a comment on this piece i think yesterday, and everytime i see it i think about it. About how it must be so hard to fall in love with someone who isnt completely mentally stable. I think that is what i see when i look at this
