The little details like the barbed wire and straitjacket really make this stand out, even more so than the use of one color against a monochromatic scene. I love images that seem to tell a story and make you wonder what's going on. Excellent job.

I don't usually nitpick, but straitjackets are supposed to be uncomfortable. The sleeves are pulled taut and slightly up, to avoid escape. You took a lot of liberties with the design though, and I suppose "struggling loonybin" was not the image you had in mind. If that is the case, the place where her sleeve folds behind her is too narrow, and you lose a lot of the beautiful three dimensionality going on in the rest of the composition.
Lots of lovely detail here, It's a great piece. Keep drawing!

At first I thought "Oh, how cute," then I realized her jacket was a STRAITjacket. Then his hands bleeding and.. I realized how interesting the picture really was. Excellent work here

at first, I didn't notice about the straightjacket but yes about the bleeding hands... It's so peaceful and dark and meaningful!

wow! It's really suprised me, at first glance I was thinking "it' s nice, calm and romantic art" but then I saw the straight jacekt and he is touching the thorns so in my main was "What the F***". This art is impressing it's give me mixed feelings, at one side her smile and his face are calm, but on the other hand why is she wearing the straight jacekt?! ;D I LOVE IT!
