Description
It's time for me to TFAize a new character, it's time for Nightbird!

So this is my design of Nightbird, clearly original since she's different from G1 Nightbird and that was the only canon version of Nightbird ever made. I think she really coulda been good in TFA since she is a ninja just like Prowl and Jazz, so why the heck not?! Plus, she needs more love, Hasbro still hasn't made a toy of her yet!

Bio:
Nightbird was trained by Master Yoketron alongside Prowl who became her rival. She and Prowl didn't get along too well and would often times fight. She was a little jealous when Prowl got promoted as Yoketron's new guardian of the protoforms, but Yoketron promised her he would teach her as his next main student and that she would learn the processor-over-matter technique. Before her training began with Yoketron, however, she found him to be offline in the temple and all the protoforms stolen. In her anger, she ran away and became a lone, independent ninja bot with nowhere to go. She spent stellar-cycles searching for someone who knew the technique, but no such bot was found, not even Prowl whom she believed had run off in fear or had also been destroyed. After Megatron was captured by the Autobots and brought to the stockade, she had heard that some of them had resided on a planet called Earth where there was more space to roam around in and ancient cultures that practiced the way of the ninja and much more. She took a small entry-ship to the planet and wandered around in the orient observing humans in an ancient Japanese pagoda. One day, a group of Decepticons attacked and she fought them off to defend the people, but the entire pagoda was destroyed. Suddenly out of nowhere came a white bot with two swords, a helmet resembling Master Yoketron's, and who knew the processor over matter technique and he took the cons down single-handedly. This bot revealed himself to be Prowl, although she initially refused to believe this for Prowl was always an "egotistical, self-centered, anti-social" bot, but she soon realized that this really was Prowl, but he had changed much since the last time they met. She traveled back to Detroit with him since her new sanctuary had been destroyed, and stayed with him and the other Autobots in Prowl's dojo and learned how to use P-over-M. Sometimes she assists Prowl on his journeys across the globe in study of the ancient orient cultures.

Personality:
Nightbird is very serious and never fools around. She takes her duty very seriously and never gives up. She's very tomboyish and isn't afraid to fight although she's a female. She usually is a loner and doesn't hang out much around other bots besides her peers and elders like Master Yoketron and later on Prowl. She and Prowl used to be rivals in Yoketron's dojo and didn't get along, but now she looks up to Prowl like a big brother figure and is eager to learn more from him. She enjoys the company of the other Autobots, although she sometimes gets annoyed by the young bots like Bumblebee, the Jet Twins, and the Lambo Twins, especially Sunstreaker who constantly makes advances on her.

Weapons/abilities:
Nightbird also possesses a cloaking device like Prowl and can use the P-over-M technique although she still has yet to master it fully. She is very light and agile even more so than Prowl ever was and she is extremely good with all sorts of weapons. She keeps her Autobot logo hidden in robot mode for sometimes she likes to infiltrate Decepticon headquarters without being seen as an Autobot. Her weapons include two short swords, two sais, and an array of small shurikens. She also has a faceplate that can cover her when in danger. Unlike other TFs, she has no Earth-mode, she transforms into a small Cybertronian racer.

So there's Nightbird! I know some consider her and Megatron to be somewhat of a couple, but I haven't found out how I'd incorporate that into her story quite yet. Maybe someday I'll try it out...
