Sire can be read at: alexisroyce.itch.io/sireEhhh, I decided to just draw new art for Chapter 1, too. ^_^ Got the idea for the straightjacket gown late last night, and decided to go for it! The background is taken from a photo of Parliament I took during my visit to London.

Thank you! And no worries, I'm always happy to talk about my comics. Sire's a horror comic about Anna and Susan, who both inhabit the same body. Anna's a sweetheart, and Susan's a sadistic psychopath. They develop a taste for literature, but when they learn something dark about their past, they forever close off all chances of ever having a normal life...
That secret is really the core of the whole thing, but it's hard to sum it up without spoiling the first three chapters. ^_^ You can read it in my gallery, but all three and a half chapters are also up on the website here: [link]

a lot of interesting hings going on in this cover. the creepiness in the man's eyes, the twirly-swirly dress/straightjacket. Her sort of... doomed expression. I like very much. n.n

You also NAILED Susan's expression. Ugh. *shivers* I keep looking at it AND I CAN'T STOP. I also think it's very interesting that you're putting brown into her hair now too. I'd like to know why you decided to start doing that. It's interesting.
The only thing that kinda niggles at me about this cover is the face proportions: Susan is BEHIND Anna. By a considerable distance. But her face is also considerably larger than Anna's, in both proportions and closeness to the viewer. It just kinda makes you look at Susan first, rather than Anna, who's standing dead center, and that doesn't feel like the original intent. I'm afraid I can't honestly think of any suggestions on how to fix it, though. :/ Sorry.
But I ADORE ADORE ADORE this piece. I actually kinda wish this was the cover for the whole STORY!

I tried to design the dress so it would be possible for it to be worn, but I don't think anyone would have fun in it. What if your nose itched!
Thank you so much; I redrew her expression about a dozen times, changing bits and pieces. I feel like I've been repeating myself a lot, expression-wise, but I'm also dissatisfied when I try new things. And yeah, Susan's head did end up being larger. Since her face is a little wider than Anna's, it still gives me trouble, trying to make them the same size, but different shapes.

I don't haev a sub, so I'm going to do what I did last time XD
Costumes: Yes. Just yes. Bloody yes. Very well done, you can certainly see the corallations between them and Edward + Henry XD
Colouring: Again, not too bright and happy XD But sort of.....brooding, along with the background.
Expressions: Very, very good. Susan looks truly disturbing and poor Anna.... she looks trapped in more ways than one XD If I had never read "Sire" I would still feel an affinity for Anna XD

The costumes are my favorite part; I had so much fun making that dress. The hardest part of the whole pic, though, was Susan's hat. Seriously. I am so bad at top hats. I drew it at least ten times, no hyperbole.
The expressions I worked on, too, and I'm most proud of Susan's. I got the open mouth just from sketching a closed mouth, and rather than pick a line to ink, I picked two of them, and got that. ^_^

XD haha I should do more crazy outfits for covers myself. Most of my outfits are rather... undetailed.
