CD COVER for the music band Aeons of Eclipse, "The Hour of Desolation" album.Email svitart@gmail.com if you need a BOOK/CD/ADVERT COVER
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the hour of desolation,
In our grim and darkened nation.
Sky is falling, sky is falling.
Little girl is crying, calling.
In my message, I inquire:
Shall I fire? Shall I fire?
Target is confirmed, my friend.
This is it, this is the end.
Sung the whooshing silver choir.
And a mushroom made of fire
Into havens did expand.
Before we could comprehend
Situation very dire.
Hurricane of death went higher,
Politicians did conspire.
For the power absolute.
Our world has turned to ash.
When the east and west did clash.
It is too late to amend,
It is too late to repent.
Shattered streets, no population
And no sound of conversation
Here rises fractured spire
Tangled bodies, twisted wire
Turned to dust our attire
When did we loose navigation?
What did our war acquire,
But complete annihilation?
woops! no, not that library! sorry! I missed the Soviet logo -- I thought it was the New York library on 5th avenue.
There's always a certain, odd, comforting warmness to your more apocalyptic pieces.
Beautiful sky as always,
The picture really makes me want to know what happened here.
You're ripped open buildings have improved lately I think.
And nice job on the 3rd watermark. I totally didn't see it til I read the comment by The-Emperors-Finest.
ruins, devestation, death, what else does a great work need? Seriously though, this is really good. What I love about your work is that you seem to put so much into them and nothing ever comes out truly bad. Keep up the work.
I'm often intrigued how you are able to make something terrible still look beautiful. That would be a wonderful way to see the world I think. Colors excellent, I like the red on the bodies that seems like an afterthought but is also abrupt compared to the higher blues.
what the hammer and sickle? isnt that just communism in general? like doesnt the chinese communist party have it on their flag as well?
the USSR had it up untill 1991 i think though so you'd have a point
PS. theres nothing a little photoshop couldnt do to get rid of those sigs here and there..
i understand how hard it is to cover your works from theives. i think what you need is a symbol rather than text. it would be easier to implement into a full scale picture
no. that's the symbol of the soviet union of socialist republics.
communism in general has no symbol.
Look at Chinese communism - they don't use hammer and sickle. they use a star on their flag.
*laughs* "Hidden," eh? The .com one sticks out like a sore thumb, but your name was well done. That really is the best way to do it, is make your mark or signature an integral part of the picture without ruining the picture itself. Neither a watermark nor something that can be chopped out, but something that lends itself to the overall image.
shush. this is hidden enough. most art thieves are pretty stupid and only crop things out.
