Work in progress shot for the Aeons of Eclipse painting(Screenshot directly from Photoshop- this is exactly how my Photoshop CS2 looks... for all you stalkery fans... except that it's shrunken a bit from my 1900x1600 resolution)
For those that keep asking about layers- there is NO layers. Layers lag at resolution of 12'000x12'000 pixels. I merge everything every 10 minutes.
Decided to show this one since the clients didn't like the airplane in it- so this painting was split in two different ones, which you can see here:

Oh, so are you going to take the plane out and continue working on it? Or are you going to make another one with the plane in it as well and submit them both, or what?
I really like this screenshot, so I think it's be nice to see it finished, but you know. Whatever you have time to do, and so on.

Or you could have used just a diff layer for the airplane, since you were probably undecided if he was going to like it or not, which he didnt...

I was plenty decided. PLENTY!
It's not just bout layers being slow. It's also about achieving effects that are possible only when layers are MERGED.

CTRL + SHIRT + N > Image>Apply Image
But that feature will be really slow

i really like the clouds in this one, how the seem to revolve around the sun.. wonderful!
also i was thinking about a city desolate with human life and activity... would probably be totally overgrown with vines, grasses, from any place a bird could poop and drop seeds for plants to grow.

That work in progress looks more well finished than any drawing I'll ever do great work, as always.

I love the realistic feel as well as the surreal look.

the effect where you blur the edges of everything makes it look really creepy... it looks almost like spider web or something. but it adds to the feel of your pictures so much
