Admiring the Last Supper painting, at the Hvar Franciscan Monastery, painted by Matej Ponzoni-Poncun.
The painter made this work for the Franciscans in gratitude for saving his life after a shipwreck.

That looks cool, but it doesn't look like the Last Supper painting I know. There are no people at the front of the the table in the one I saw. I think you found a fake there!!!

There a several artistic portrayals of the Last Supper. Leonardo's is just the most well-known.

Photo is nice, painting is nice, but the content of the painting is nothing more than a bedtime story to give people hope.

Have they given you any hope of that the world might get better instead of wandering off into its own funeral (thanks to mankind)? Or do you just like the usual bedtime stories that make your mind wander into a imaginary world where everything is good, so your mind isn't constantly occupied by the thought of "life has no meaning"...?
Sorry for the pessimistic tone of that, but if you take a deeper look into what's going on in the world around ya now, I am sure that anyone with enough brains will see that the world IS in fact slowly making its way into the maelstrom of oblivion, that is so far caused by OUR presence on this planet, and OUR stupid pollution that very few actually understand, is a most grave issue that must be dealt with summairly, or the consequences will continue to worsen.
Think about that, and spread the knowledge, and that will eventually help. We'll have to hope that knowledge reaches enough ppl to influence this situation in time...

I like stories that take me away from the weary, post apocalyptic grayness of this capitalist paradise with its skyscrapers of steel and stone blocking sunlight and starlight.

So you say your art is partly to get ppl thinking about the world, and how it's slowly goint to become that that many of your paintings show?
In that case I have noticed that already, couse it atleast gets ME thinking just that...
I believe you have to make a bit clearer messages though, so that even all americans understand your point. 
Well anyways, I don't actually even need to read stories to get me away from the real world, I can just think one out myself and voila, I'm out.
Or then I just think of random stuff that doesn't connect to bad things and then I get off the "apocalypticalness" again.
Good imagination is part blessing, part curse. Atleast if it's WILD and good imagination. Then it sometimes wanders off in unpleasant or otherwise undesired directions.
Whew, seems novel-writing and conveying my thoughts go hand-in-hand for me.
