The first thing I thought when I saw the title was "9 a.m." (the beginning to Rocket Man by William Shatner).

HOLY CRAP.
The ice is amazingly detailed, the sky is beautiful, and Snippy there makes a great sense of scale for the tanks.
The daylight makes them more ominous-looking, not less.
