I was inspired by this piece ( [link] )just earlier today, and decided that I wanted to give a crack at my own version of a princess Rarity.I don't think I'm going to do the rest...
I just really wanted to do this one.
Also, I think Pinkie Pie is my favorite in that other pic, despite her being my least favorite character in the show. Jussayin'

oh it definitely doesn't have to be super disney. it looks awesome on its own, don't try to copy styles too much, it's better to work in your own

it's not so much copying a style as trying to fit within a style. if you want to draw fanart of anything properly, you have to attempt to make it fall within the style.
this is obviously more stylized, but oh well.

I really love it! I love how...sleek? the design is. I like her pearl accessories and the lacy bits on the ends of her dress :3 I think it looks very beautiful!

i tried to make it sort of simplistic, disney-style. disney keeps their princesses rather plain, easier to animate that way.
