amazing!! simply amazing! There's no ink here, is it? Only darkened pencils to give the feeling of ink, right?

you are correct, i send my pencils over and Mark Roslan darkens them up, makes any tweaks to make them better and sends it along to become what you guys all get to see. ink can do amazing things though and if i was faster and better at getting it to do what i wanted id use it, but im lucky to work with the people i do, they always seem to take the next step that much further.

great!! I really like darkened pencils because I think they preserve some of the original "freshness" and spontaneous feeling of the lineart. I bet you largely use a light box, right?

actually no, never been much of one for using a light box. ive seen some people who can really use it well but i like to just draw right on the page. that way if i sketch in a line i really like its right there and i dont have to worry about trying to redo it if i were to try and light box
