This is a very good start. And it is very obviously in its extremely early stages. The visual presentation is very good, except for the tiger's faces. They look odd somehow, like their teeth are in the wrong place or something...
The controls are solid, but feel floaty when you jump, which isn't bad per se, but may bother some people.
There are some very minor hit detection issues with the enemies. Example: I jumped on a tiger, and it fell down, but hit me with its tail while falling, then I died. Though this only happened once or twice, it could still be a problem.
The music is great, very cinematic, so no complaints there. The gameplay is fun, even at such an early stage, and feels very natural, which cannot be said for even some professional games, so kudos to you~
One teeny nitpick I have is the noise daring makes when she jumps. It sounds like some stepping on a piece of fruit or a bug. Maybe a soft whooshing noise for her jumping would be better? Or maybe that's just me. The noise is not annoying, it just sounds weird to me.

Freaking good! The FPS is amazing! I get the feeling that this can be just as awesome as Mega Man X and that means it would be as awesome as Rainbow Dash which means. This is awesome. Now i shall grade you on your game.
Graphics. The art style to it is amazing. Nothing much i can say about that. Just wish the background would scroll. Other than that it is good. 5/5
Controls: Easy. 5/5
Gameplay: Not much shown here but the hole jump and mario stop on enemys. Pretty basic and a good start. The only prob though is that your whole jumping thing is kind of... well. Any time i switch my tragectory in midair you stay facing the direction you jumped from. Other than that it is good. 5/5
Music: Buetiful! 5/5
Sound effects: Perfect: 5/5

but IMHO, Daring is reacting a little bit too slow, I think it needs just a teensy-weensy-little bit more fine tuning... and more levels! *_* Then it would be perfect!

Just on the bleeding edge of lagging, but not badly -- and I'm probably on the low end of the systems that will be running it. Maybe an option to turn off the underbrush immediately behind the main layer would probably be just enough.

Looks like a good start. Too bad Flash doesn't want to cooperate with me. It keeps stalling for a second every now and then. I don't think it's your game at fault, though. Other Flash-based programs suffer the same problem, leading me to thinking it's Flash itself at fault.

I've been having a lagging issue all evening, so this probably isn't helpful for me to comment right now. But I adore the graphics and the backgrounds, in addition to the entirely fitting music.
I would, however, prefer an implementation of a less unforgiving HP system. If I bump into a wildcat and have to start over, I lose faith in the game right quick. Give me 3 HP before defeat, and it's much more tolerable for those of us with subpar platforming skills.

One day, Laura was surfing the internet. She was just looking at her favorite pages when all of a sudden a new tab opened up. She was confused, since she didn’t click on any link whatsoever. The tab didn’t show anything, just a white screen. When she tried to close the tab, nothing happened. She kept pressing the X to close it, but instead the tab turned to full size. Suddenly, the white screen of the tab turned completely black. It wasn’t only the tab screen that turned black, all the button and everything else on her screen did the same. Even her mouse disappeared off the screen. After a little while, she decided to turn her computer off because she simply thought it was broken. She made a big mistake. Out of nowhere, a full screen picture of her mother appeared on the black screen. As she looked at it, she could see that the pictures eyes slowly started bleeding. The longer she stared at it, the more frightening the picture became, until the picture resembled death itself. The speakers of her computer suddenly let out an extremely loud screaming noise. Laura covered her ears, but it didn’t help a single thing. She tried to leave her room, but the door didn’t budge when she tried to open it. The screaming noise just kept getting louder until it was too much for her…
Laura’s dead body was found later in her room when her dad returned home from his work…

Awesome, nice work.
Some things to note, though (yes, I know this is mainly a test). I died from hitting the side of a fallen enemy before it disappeared. You could also make the jump height/length of time vary by how long the player held the up button. Also when right clicking, full screen would not work on my system.
I just opened up the profiler from the right-click menu, and I am averaging at ~58fps (very fluid scrolling and jumping), though it is apparently using between 120 and 135Mb while running and is using about 16 percent of my AMD 6-core 2.8GHz processor (not bragging, just giving specs for comparison), which (I think. I am no expert) is quite a bit for a flash game. The ability to adjust the quality would be appreciated.
This is great, though, and I wish there was more! Very good art, and the soundtrack is a great fit for the game. Please keep working on it.
