Guess not. For the past couple of months he was on holiday in Syberia (I'm serious) and was back only a week ago. Besides now he is concentrated on Sky Taxi 5 (another indie game not related to MLP). So Daring Do is on hold for now.

This game is awesome, and it's nowhere near finished.
I didn't find that secret area the first time through, so I ended up going straight to Arizoto. I am truly impressed with how much extra content there is in this demo.

There's a pretty impressive amount of stuff going on in this game. And Daring's push animation is really cute, by the way.
As far as I can tell, I've done everything there is to do so far, except for two places I can't figure out how to pass. Is there any way to get past these [link] two areas? I can't figure out any way to break that block without immediately falling, or keep that button held down long enough to avoid the spikes stabbing me.

To pass the bottom area: There's a floor button on the left, stand on it for a few seconds to let the blade rise, then go right before it goes down. IDK about the one on the top, Maybe there'll be other powerups to help with that in the future.

I've tried that repeatedly with the button, but no matter how many times I try, the spikes always come down too quickly for me to be able to make it past them. I thought maybe there was some way I wasn't figuring out to push a box or something on top of that button to hold it down permanently.
So you've actually made it past the spikes just by running? Is there some way to sprint faster or something? Because I don't see how to avoid getting pushed back by the spikes. I've even tried turning around just before they hit me, hoping I would get pushed the other direction, but it's always back the way I came from.

Yes I made past that with the same regular speed. Did you wait long enough? Try waiting 10 seconds. Try to stand on the right edge of the button. (I retried it, and managed to do it by waiting for about ~5 seconds)

Okay, apparently it was just a lag problem. I tried shrinking the screen to a tiny little square, and now I can suddenly make it. Weird that Daring's running speed lags at a different rate than the blade's lowering speed, I guess because it's off-screen part of the time.
And of course it turns out there's barely anything on the other side anyway, after all that time spent trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Ah well.
Still can't figure out the other place, though, and I don't think that one has anything to do with lag. It's right below one of the "Under Construction" areas, though, so it's probably just not accessible yet.

oops, posted without noticing you responded to yourself.
If the lag really is the result of an event depending on actual time then maybe it'll be a good idea to replace the events' trigger to a counter that increases itself interdependently of the time (If it's possible with Stencyl I don't know)

Yeah, I have no idea if that's a common enough problem to bother trying to fix. My computer is 8 years old, so it might be just me.
Kinda funny, this reminds me of that whole observer effect idea. If the blade lowers while I'm watching it, it takes 3.5 seconds to drop, but if I'm not watching it, it takes 3.2 seconds, or such.
Anyway, thanks for the help. I probably wouldn't have realized it was just my computer screwing up if I hadn't found out running was supposed to work.

Трин некритичных косметических бага:
1) на экране с тигром, где надо нажать кнопку внизу экрана, которая заставляет появиться блок вверху экрана, с помощью которого ожно взять золотой талисман в верхнем левом углу экрана. Так вот, кнопка внизу экрана находится на переднем плане. Т.е. она частично закрывает Деринг, если встать на ее месте. Все остальные кнопки находятся на заднем плане.
2) На экране, который находится перед Ауизотлом самый правый передвигаемый блок (который можно двигать после нажатия кнопки) закрывает счетчик хитпоинтов Дэринг. Все остальные блоки не закрывают.
3) На экране с большой обезьяной (_НЕ_ боссом) потолки тоже закрывают счетчик хитпоинтов.

well, first of all, you need to play the griffon intro minigame till you get the chalice at the end of it. this is realy important
and take these hints:
move all the purple blocks, there are things behind them.
there are numbers and and signs in the walls, keep your eyes open
some pitfalls lead to hidden places
you can move the smaller spiderweb balls
the mokey´s dart can press the red buttoms

I think I found another bug.
There's an area under a swamp (you fall through water to get there). After falling through the floor with the single spinning blade, you land on a platform that there's absolutely no escape from without restarting the game from the very beginning. Under the platform is a switch protected by spikes, which opens the door above it, but there's no way to get back up to that platform once you press the switch.
Am I missing something in this area? There needs to be some kind of escape mechanism here, because I can't find a way to get back to the upper platform once the door opens without restarting the game from the beginning. If this is area is a WIP, you should probably mark it or close it off or something. Just a suggestion.

There is escape from that from that place. There is a monkey above that shoots arrows at you. All you need to do is to dodge the arrow and then jump onto it before it will disappear. It is rather difficult but definitely possible.

Very entertaining! Although I noticed a couple of things:
-No drowning in the water?
-The map sends you to a corner very often
-It's easy to just stay near the boss and spam the jump button to kill the boss
But the rest is really well done for an alpha game. Congratulations

Hey im in the room with the candy looking walls with floating fish and spiders (hope you know where i mean) and has Derpy, Pinkie pie, Angel and another pony im not sure of looks like Sweetie bell but she has a cutie mark so it cant be, can it? Any how they fade in and out and pressing down on them does nothing, ive found them in other rooms before so why cant i touch them in this room ? is there something im missing?
Also there is a room which has a spiked thing that hangs from the ceiling and there is a button that rises it but it goes down the second i leave it... there doesnt seem to be a way to get a block to it :/ something im missing? help?
I have the skill to break the gem stones but the one on the ceiling in a room as i break it i fall and it refreshes back on the screen :/ am i missing something or do i need another skill to get past it ? can the parasprite skill be used without the golden statue ? i didnt think it wud tho
I think this game is amazing I wud seriously pay for this game (when its the full version) i swear ^^ and im quite stingy when it comes to spending money on anything even things i need lol I love it so much so my kind of game and the music is so beautiful <3

I enjoyed the game, but I'm now stuck in the room with the golden parasprite statue. I can't go back the way I came, and the opening at the bottom of the room isn't letting me through. Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

I had this very issue in this version. After I started a new game and got the golden chalice first, and only then went for the labyrinth, everything worked fine.
To get the chalice you have to fly though griffins in the first scene for several minutes before a mountain appears with the chalice hovering above. If you fail for the first time you need to find Doctor Whooves (Time Turner) and then use Tardis (it's beside him).

Это с золотым идолом проблема, что из параспрайта должен обратно в пони превратить. Не знаю точно влияет ли наличие чаши, но вдруг поможет человеку. Когда появится время начну заново пару раз и проверю как работает с ней и без неё.

they were saying that the room whit the parasprite statue has a bug.
if you reacj there whithout the chalice you get stuck, cant go out of that room, and starting all over is anoying as fuck...
but yeah, great game dude
BUG: in the room whit the flying fishes, if you get "stomped" under the wall that goes up when you press the buttons, the game frezes.
