My first project for Illustration Techniques 291. I was trying to get out pf my comfort zone by exploring oil pastels and a technique by Australian illustrator Ron Brooks. I found it useful copying Brook's style with his own illustrations, but I struggled to capture the style when it came to applying it to my own illustration. Could it be because I started the final illustration at 11pm the day before it was due?
