Fishing Cat is not only a profession in the anthro world, but also a species of small feline in the real world.
Stereotypes might say cats hate water, and, despite there being a couple different cat species ready to argue with that, Fishing Cat should take the cake. Although, they'd probably prefer fish. They have unique adaptations geared towards aquatic hunts, such as layered fur, prolonged face, small ears and stubby tails.
They live in Southeast Asia and depend on wetlands and mangrove forests to survive. They mostly suffer from habitat loss and poaching from farmers attempting to protect their livestock.
