The density of the sun is not the sun, it is itβs density. The light is from the sun but not the sun and the heat comes from the sun but it is, again, not the sun.

There's actually a little problem with this analogy.
This is called Arianism, which is basically is saying Christ and the Holy Spirit are creations of the Father, just like heat and light are creations of the sun but not the star itself.Β

Well you're wrong in claiming that. A person with a personality disorder is not someone with multiple personalities. From the American Psychiatric Association: "Personality is the way of thinking, feeling and behaving that makes a person different from other people. An individualβs personality is influenced by experiences, environment (surroundings, life situations) and inherited characteristics. A personality disorder is a way of thinking, feeling and behaving that deviates from the expectations of the culture, causes distress or problems functioning, and lasts over time.Β There are 10 specific types of personality disorders (such as borderline personality disorder). Common to all personality disorders is a long-term pattern of behavior and inner experience that differs significantly from what is expected.Β The pattern of experience and behavior begins by late adolescence or early adulthood, and causes distress or problems in functioning. Here, the idea is that God has different sides to who he is and how he identifies that side to people. For example, God the Father to humanity is the stern parental figure who acts with justice and rationality and intellect to his creation acting in or out of his desires. Your parents act one way to you than they do to themselves and people their age. God the son to humanity is the brotherly lover who seeks to help, bring mercy, warn people, and act out of the Father's love to see his brothers and sisters (humans) to be on the side of justice and kindness. Any sibling, blood or friend, will tell you that they act differently and interact differently than with parents because that's on a level of connection. God the Holy Spirit to humanity is the mediator and connection between everyone and everything where Gods life acts within the present and points to the future, progress, and better understanding of our place in a complex life with comfort and self-awareness and reevaluation and rationality, but some faith to guide people.Β
God killed babies and flooded the whole Earth ... yes, that's tough to think about, but then again, we don't bat an eye when many leaders are forced to make this decision. Could it be that he foresaw greater evils than what exists today if he didn't? Maybe. But when your the creator, you have every right when things get out of hand. After all, your the host and your guests shouldn't act like wild beings bent on carnal pleasures to rape, murder, eat people, praise false hosts, and rule others with cruel iron tyranny. I can't say that's my final answer, but I rather give my life in the hands of a God who could be imaginary (I doubt it), than you or any human who has some basic moral understanding, but can easily turn on a whim if under pressure or persuaded by evil parties ... much like our leaders. Excuse me, but God flooded the world with the intent to start humanity over when it was at the brink of pure evil. America dropped two atomic bombs over two cities with the intentions of proving their power more than to end a war that was already won before then, and now we exist with the ever present threat of nuclear warheads ready to go off over a mistaken cough. God is irrational? Ha! In the thousands of years our society has existed, I doubt our God went out of his way to do what he did for evil like we have.Β

Still it doesn't excuse his behavior of sending people to hell to be punished for not kissing his ass or just little irks. Keep your god, I'll stick to Baphomet, Lucifer and Cthulhu, way more fun than the Christian god of the bibleΒ

I understand how the Trinity can be 3 people, this is a good way to explain it. I was trying to think of a way to explain it. All I came up with is holding up 3 fingers and then pushing them together to form 1.

The origins of revisiting this came from a [short] debate not long ago from people who didn't believe Jesus was God, so I re-worded it slightly to make it a journal about the whole Godhead.
To start with, this is how the Godhead works (please note they are not 3 seperate 'entities', but 3 Persons yet 1 God):
God the Father sent God the Son through the power of God the Holy Spirit.
The Father commands, the Son (aka the Word) obeys through the power of the Spirit.
The Word of the Father created the Universe through the power of the Spirit.
