ah, Leo. the leader, and the one most serious about being a ninja among his brothers. no frills or unnecessary equipment on him, everything he carries is essential to his goal of being the best ninja possible. combine that with a determined expression and focused gaze, and you a have an excellent reinterpretation of the character that stays true to his roots. even if i knew nothing about TMNT beforehand, the character's personality and motivations can be gleaned in an instant just by looking at this picture. that, to me, is what good character design is all about, and you really nailed this piece.

Line work and color is terrific. Design is outstanding! Definitely an intimidation factor. The bandana's animation is fluid and conveys the lightness of it really well. The overall design and animation is so nicely done that I wished the whole figure moved! I feel like I should see part of the third sword but that could just be me. It could possibly be a shorter blade. If so then disregard what I wrote earlier. One thing I would do is add some darker tones to help vary the shadows even more in order to bring out the colors just a tad more but otherwise really well done!!

I've also started animating with Photoshop. Flash just doesn't do it for me.

I used Photoshop for this one because of shading style. It's way faster to color in Flash though.

Leo is my favorite turtle out of his brothers, and you, sir, had brought more justice to leo than Micheal bay ever could. i would love to see him in full action. He looks like a legit ninja.
