Description Created in photoshop for the group 'Brainstorm' on facebook. The challenge was to combine a military character with fossil/bones...yeah, crazy idea right?! But those are always the best

Yes, photos were used, but as a means and not and end. The trick is always how to blend the photos by painting over.
