I got asked a lot about this image, so here's a look at some of the steps involved. I wanted to keep this one simple, hence no writing..but I think you guys can see what's basically happening.Though I will sum up the process like this: line drawing, add tone, colorize tone, render forms, enhance light sources and contrast....blah, blah

what kind of pencls are the blue led ones?
I've ben look ing all over for them and cant find them

I think it's a col-rase blue pencil...but really any will do

I know, but if i'm gonna do more digital work than I'll nead the pencils. using regular gray led makes it harder to work on the pc

yep for some odd reason the computer reads the blue better than the gray. dont ask me why it just does

i like ruff drawing...i mean the final is kick ass but...dang...i wouldn't know what to do w/myself if i drew ruff drawings like that
