Bryarly inhaled deeply and glanced at all the beautiful trees around her, as she walked through the park along side Kayley. They made their way down a trail watching squirrels chase each other and birds build nests. All made even more gorgeous by the now setting sun. Seeing a bench along the path, Kayley gestured to it, and they walked over to take a seat.

"So, how long do you plan on staying here in The Eng Lands?" Kayley asked.

"About five days… I leave on Monday morning!"

"I see, than we'll have to hang out as much as possible in the meantime."

"Definitely!" Bryarly confirmed with a huge smile on her face.

"You're lucky you can afford it. My Barcelona trip nearly broke me!"

"Yeah, you tweeted something about that the other day."

"Ah, the joys of Twitter!" the ginger said sarcastically.

"Yup!" Bryarly replied between giggles.

"Speaking of which the other day I noticed that you follow my cousin, Bridie."

"I do! I actually follow a lot of your family members. Well, just three of your cousins."

Kayley stared at the girl for a bit; then raised an eyebrow. "So, what you're telling me is Bryarly follows Bridie and Bridie's brothers?"

Bryarly busted out into loud almost uncontrollable laughter. As she did, Kayley felt mesmerized by her, because she seemed so full of joy. A smile slowly crept across her face. Not even thinking she moved in and kissed Bryarly on the lips just as she finished laughing. Realizing what she'd done, Kayley moved back, desperately hoping her friend wouldn't hate her for it. Bryarly's head was filled with absolute confusion; still she knew the best plan of action was to talk about anything else.

"So…"

"Yeah?" Kayley replied.

"Should I dress fancy for this movie watching party tomorrow or what?"

"No! You can just wear something nice that's not too dressy" she nervously spat out.

"Ok… Cool!"

"Um… Wow, I should really get going!"

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Bryarly agreed as they both looked in the direction of the sun, which was now almost completely set. "Did you want me to walk you to the train station?"

"No, I'll be fine. You should get back to Alex and Charlie's house before it's totally dark out, though. You wouldn't want to deal with any of the creepers that seem to pop up around this place, at night."

"Good point!" Bryarly said standing up and walking back toward the house.

As Bryarly got closer to the house, she found it impossible to think about anything other than the beautiful redhead and that kiss. Was it just a friendly thing or was it meant to be romantic? Is it weird that I kind of liked it? Those were just a few of the questions plaguing the young woman's mind. She couldn't help but remember back to when she was younger and some kids at school thought she was a lesbian. She didn't believe she was lesbian then, she didn't believe so now either and yet she was sure she wanted Kayley to kiss her again.

Thursday morning got off to a great start. Bryarly lazily stumbled out of bed at around 10:30 am. When she got down stairs she saw that Charlie had just finished making breakfast and Alex was sitting expectantly at their small kitchen table. She took a seat next to him. While eating, the three of them talked about where they might to spend the day. When they were finally finished they made their plans and got dressed to leave.

As they walked along the Thames they saw street venders, living statues and all sorts of other street performers. Bryarly was genuinely enjoying herself, until she saw a redheaded young lady leaving a tip for a man who was painted copper and standing very still. Bryarly felt her mouth go dry and her whole body start to tense up. The lady then turned and faced Bryarly and it was clear she wasn't Kayley, but the incident only reminded her of how confusing last night had been. She shook her head and kept walking with her friends. She was desperate for some sort of distraction. As if he knew something was wrong, Charlie's eye's lit up.

"I know where we should go next…"

Bryarly and Alex stared at him for awhile intrigued.

"The Museum of London!" he continued.

"Perfect!" Brayarly said; hoping to get her mind off Kayley for bit.

"Yay, a museum…" Alex murmured sarcastically.

They made their way through the museum commenting on each exhibit as they passed them. Alex mostly made snarky jokes, which would cause Charlie to immediately giggle. Bryarly couldn't focus on anything other than the image she had replaying in her mind, of the stunningly fair skinned ginger leaning in to kiss her. As the boys had a field day, verbally picking apart the "At Home with the Queen" exhibition, her thoughts were still on the other young woman's lips. The boys didn't really notice her silence until later at Paternoster Chop House, where they enjoyed a late lunch.

"Bryarly, what's on your mind? You've been really quiet since we left the museum," Charlie asked tentatively.

"I know this is a bit crazy to say the day after arriving here, but I think I might be missing home a little," she lied, rather convincingly.

"Well, that's alright," Alex assured her. "But if you ever need to talk about anything, don't be afraid to come to us."

"Of course," she replied attempting to finish her meal.

At that moment she knew this vacation might not be as relaxing as she'd originally planned.

Great! I have the whole ending planned out, I just have to convince myself that if I start writing it I won't ruin my mental image of it. Haha, the rest is coming.
