"Now take this wand, wait in the Princess' bedroom, and zap her as soon as she enters!" Kamek ordered the two Goombas.

The Goombas nodded and put on enchanted leafs on their heads, and in a poof of smoke looked like the Mushroom Kingdom's Toads.

They took the wand and hurried into Mushroom Castle as Kamek waited.

The disguised Goombas asked politely, "Where's the Princess' bedroom?" And were given proper directions.

The disguised Goombas waited in Peach's room, wand ready.

"So... what 'she' are we gonna zap?"

"I dunno, we were told to just wait in the Princess' room and zap 'her' so let's just zap whoever comes in here first. Won't matter who she was once she's zapped right?"

"Right."

They helped themselves to the Princess' chocolates and waited.

Eventually the door swung opened.

"Princess, I have that new racing suit you ordered!" Toadette said carrying in the package. She didn't mind delivering the suit for Peach, they were friends. And it was nice to chat with her outside of a sporting event or game. And it gave her an excuse to visit the castle and see her brave (regardless of what anyone else said) and handsome Captain Toad! Went push came to shove, he was as brave as Mario when he had to rescue her that one time. Just as she'd risk her neck for him!

She had just enough time to spot the weird looking toads before they pointed the wand and zapped her.

Toadette gasped and was paralyzed as the magic did its work.

Toadette's skin turned to pink scales. Her clothes vanished and showed yellow belly scales. Her feet became three toed claws. A spiked tail grew from her rear along with a large spiked shell on her back. Her cute hands became a set of reptilian claws as well. Her face stretched into a lizard's muzzle with fangs showing. A wild mane of yellow hair grew from her bald head. Her eyes became swirls for a few seconds become turning to bright blue eyes.

She stood perfectly still, having dropped the package and said in a daze,

'What was... what was I thinking about? Oh right, how much I loved my handsome, charming, and absolutely handsome King Bowser!'

"Bring me... to my lovely Bowser."

The Goombas looked at each other. "That's some strong brainwashing."

"Save it! Singal Kamek!" The Goombas did so, waving a piece of bedding out the window.

Kamek flew to the window. "Excellent! You idiots did something right! The Princess is now ours!"

"Princess? I'm a princess! I'm Bowser's Princess!" Said Toadette.

"Not for long, soon you'll be queen," Kamek said.

Toadette squealed in joy. "And I get to help crush those pesky plumbers?"

"Oh most definitely! Come along!" He said in a polite and friendly tone.

The Goomba's wisely decided to stay silent as they hopped onto Kamek's broom along with the transformed Toadette. They made a beeline back to the warp pipe taking them straight back to Bowser's castle.

While 'Princess' was given the royal treatment, the two Goombas were promptly forgotten about.

"So..." One Goomba asked, "What do we do once they find out that Princess Peach is still at the castle?"

"Oh that's easy! We say that to cover up Peach being turned into the Koopa Queen, the Mario brothers magically transformed a random Toad into her exact duplicate," said the other Goomba munching on some bonbons.

"Will that even work?"

"HEY! WHO STOLE MY BONBONS!" Roared Bowser.

"I think I saw Mario steal them!" Shouted the other Goomba wiping his face and hiding the evidence behind his back.

"Of course!" Bowser snarled. "Those pesky plumbers!"

"See?"

"Let's get you dressed for your wedding my Princess!" Bowser laughed, practically tiptoeing around.

"Yes yes! I can't wait to be married to you my lovely Bowser!" Cheered the little new Koopa Princess. Lady Koopas all around Princess dressed her up in white. "Our children will be so beautiful! Just like you!"

"That they will! Say... how'd you get so short?" Bowser raised an eyebrow.

"I've always been this tall my love." Princess nodded happily.

"That's the mental change your Majesty!" Said the second Goomba quickly, happy Kamek was out of non-Bowser-roar earshot. "I think the magic used up some of her height to transform her because it was so powerful."

"Oh. Well, that's easy to fix. Kamek!"

Kamek zoomed in from the other end of the castle. "Yes Your Majesty?"

"Please make my bride a little taller."

"Yes, Your Greatness." Kamek sighed, this new magic was so experimental, side effects were to be expected. He zapped Princess, and the little Koopa grew until she was just a little bit shorter than Bowser. The dress, of course, changed with her, Kamek was no amateur.

"Oh I'm now even better for you my love! I'm so happy!" She look his claws in hers and kissed him.

"So am I." Bowser kissed back.
